MITOSIS
Mitosis is an ongoing project exploring the metaphysical definition of the self as a fluid, ever-changing process. Drawing from the philosophies of Gilles Deleuze and David Hume, I challenge the notion of the self as a fixed entity, presenting it instead as a continuous becoming of the other, which is a postmodern reflection on free will, identity, and transformation. Through surreal and unsettling visuals, I deconstruct the components of being, evoking a bizarre yet captivating effect. This project rejects the curated perfection of modernity and embraces the natural, mutable, and fragile essence of human existence. It is an invitation to question perceptions of selfhood and engage with the unsettling beauty of transformation.
